Voces Latinas

IIn partnership with Latino Community Fund, Casa Latina and Orquesta Northwest, Voces Latinas promotes equity, diversity and inclusion in Seattle by forming a cohort of mentors and participants to carry out community-oriented projects from September 2019 date, in conjunction with musical and cultural events that will engage diverse audiences by featuring guest Latino musicians and composers and celebrating traditional and historic Latino events, as well as supporting the creation of Latino voting tables. All of these spaces and events are offered free of charge. Mentors and participants conduct activities related to democratic processes and civic engagement that will include voter registration support and interviews with volunteers and elected officials from the Latino community. As well as sharing their experiences with the public.

Running from September 2019 through May 2020, Orquesta Northwest’s current concert season is titled “Voces Latinas.” View upcoming events on the calendar.
